PRICE INCREASE NOTICE:

25th March 2025:

We are writing to inform you of an increase to your LPG supply price, which will come into effect from 1st May 2025.

There is a 7% price increase for LPG, effective 1st May 2025. GST inclusive

The cylinder rental remains unchanged.

We know this news comes on top of other inflationary pressures and we are conscious this is a tough time for many households.

This is the 1st increase in price since 2 April 2024 as we have absorbed the increases over the past 12 months. Unfortunately, we can no longer absorb the price increases imposed on us, and we now have to pass these on.

Why are LPG prices increasing?

The change in our pricing is a result of several contributing factors but not limited to:

  1. Increased cost of actual raw product from our supplier – sourcing raw product internationally due to increased customer uptake & declining local reserves to meet demand – exchange rate pressure on imported LPG which is tied to the US Dollar.
  2. Inflationary pressures – i.e. Distribution costs, increased wage costs, holding costs.
  3. NZ Carbon costs continue to increase (Emission Trading Scheme). 
  4. Increasing Governance/Compliance costs.

While increasing prices are never great, we want to assure you that we are and will continue to deliver you the best possible value for your LPG backed by the reliable service you have become accustomed to from the Rockgas Nelson & Marlborough team. 

This is a notice to all customers, especially those that have not provided us with an email address to contact them.

PAYMENT TERMS – 18/1/2023

Effective immediately, Rockgas Nelson & Marlborough’s payment terms will be PAYMENT WITHIN 7 DAYS from date of invoice.

SINGLE CYLINDER SETUP DELIVERIES

From 1st April 2021 Rockgas Nelson & Marlborough will not take on any new single cylinder customers. Existing customers with single cylinder setups will be charged a $150 special delivery fee for any delivery that is not on their scheduled delivery day (ie: runout delivery).

Rockgas Nelson & Marlborough offer a ‘regular check’ service to some customers (in special circumstances only) at an extra charge. Our regular check service does not exempt you from paying a call out fee if you require an after hours delivery. Each customer is still responsible for managing their own LPG usage and placing extra orders when required.

Rockgas Nelson and Marlborough require all rental property tenants to pay for their LPG cylinder deliveries in advance.
